I have been drawing since the age of five and painting since 1999. My education in art started in junior college where I focused on graphic design and drawing. I continued my studies at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and the Art Institute of Seattle. In 2006 I moved to San Diego, where I attended the Art Academy of San Diego as a student and an employee for two years. My studies were focused on drawing and oil painting, primarily portraits. My most influential instructor and mentor was landscape artist Stuart Burton (stuartburtonart.com). I also studied with the accomplished portrait artist Neil Shigley (neilshigley.com).
My work has been shown in galleries, restaurants, coffee shops, salons, and nightclubs in San Diego and Seattle.
I take commissions for oil portraits, drawings, and design projects. Please contact me for original art sales and commissions.
